Statikz is the studio of Bas Otten in Heerlen, the Netherlands. I design and build brands, packaging and webshops, and stay your point of contact afterwards.

Whoever makes the design, builds it too. No handover between sketch and website. One person from the first conversation to maintenance.

About the studio

From digital print to Gmund.

A brand does not end on the screen. With every brand identity I choose the paper and print as well, from an affordable print run to exclusive Gmund paper. Anything is possible. You see proofs before anything goes out.

Digital print

Fast and affordable. For a first run or a small series.

Offset

For larger runs, with the same colour on every copy.

Gmund and other fine papers

Heavy, textured and exclusive. For a brand you want people to feel.

Background

Graphic designer and web developer, trained in media design. Alongside Statikz I freelance for several design agencies.

From identity and packaging to web design: design and build in WordPress come from one hand, as do hosting, management and maintenance after launch. Independent, with an eye for detail and direct contact with clients. New techniques, such as AI in the design and development process, quickly become part of the work.
